We decline most work. Not out of arrogance, because bad fit produces bad outcomes, and we have learned this expensively. The clients who get the most from working with us are in the middle of something: a new leader figuring out what to do, an acquisition that needs to actually integrate, a strategy that stopped working, growth that broke the operating model. Inflection points. Moments when getting it right matters more than usual.
